Persia Pele got her start in porn a bit late (age 27), and says the recession was a driving force behind the decision. She's Iranian and was born into a Muslim family, despite having never practiced. After finding out she was doing porn, half of her family disowned her. That's a heavy price to pay for a career in porn, but it seems to be paying off.
